For over 30 years Richard B. Honig has specialized in bankruptcy, creditor and debtor rights, commercial transactions and commercial and corporate litigation. He has served as Chairman of the Bankruptcy Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
Mr. Honig has been a member of the United States Trustee’s Panel of Bankruptcy Trustees for the District of New Jersey and has also served as a Chapter 11 Trustee in many cases. Mr. Honig has been a Master of the Essex County Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Inn of Court, and is a frequent lecturer for the Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
Mr. Honig has been designated by the Judges of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey as an authorized bankruptcy mediator.
Mr. Honig is a member of the Bars of New Jersey, New York and the federal trial and appellate courts in those states.
Mr. Honig is listed in the Best Lawyers in America, New Jersey’s Top-Rated Lawyers and has been selected for inclusion in New Jersey Super Lawyers for 2005-2019 and the New York area Best Lawyers 2005-2017.
