Eric R. Perkins has extensive experience with both consumer and business bankruptcy and assignment for the benefit of creditors, along with commercial transactions within the insolvency context. He has represented debtors, creditors, creditors’ committees and trustees. His clients have come from a wide variety of business sectors including, but not limited to the construction, healthcare, real estate, manufacturing, and transportation industries, here in the United States, as well as in Canada, Europe and Asia as well as extensive experience in cross-border restructuring in multiple nations.
Currently serving on the Panel of Chapter 7 Trustees for the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of New Jersey, Newark Vicinage (for approximately thirty years). Receiving numerous appointments as a Chapter 11 Trustee in industries and businesses, including, without limitation, the manufacturing, engineering, medical, and dental fields.
Mr. Perkins also has extensive experience in international corporate and commercial transactions, including the establishment of subsidiaries of foreign companies in the United States. He represents and assists U. S. subsidiaries for international clients in the manufacturing, service, food and construction industries, helping them achieve their goals and objectives in the United States.
